Michael I find myself returning to all these albums again and again, especially when I’m writing. The music has a power, I feel, which turns thoughts into images and those images into words. The introspection of my characters together with how I am able to paint and depict scenes owe a large debt to Other Forms of Consecrated Life. Thank you. Joe Borreson Other Forms of Consecrated Life continue to excel in curating exquisitely rich, earth dragging and droning atmospheres full of texture and grit that are so unique. This one is no exception. I really wish OFoCL shared more info about their mysterious roster (and also put some of these on vinyl) but am happy to get to hear their releases in any form. Favorite track: After the tent revival, 5pm, Mar 7, 1937.
